Indiana Weather

The climate in Indiana is fairly consistent with variations in average temperatures from the extreme north to the extreme south. Winters in Indiana are cold with temperatures increasing toward the south. Indiana has warm and humid summers and receives moderate rainfall. The north receives a little more snow, and the south has more rain. The northern region of the state experiences very cold winters and really hot summers. Both regions experience four distinct seasons. Fall and Spring are the most comfortable times of year to visit. In general Indiana's climate will grow considerably warmer and probably drier during this century.
